Profhilo
Profhilo® is an injectable treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that exists on the market. It is known as a skin remodelling treatment and is specially formulated for people who lack volume and elasticity.
Rather than plumping and filling wrinkles like Dermal Fillers, the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid stimulates the production of collagen and elastin which results in improved skin tone, texture, hydration, and appearance of fine lines.
The Profhilo® treatment remodels skin laxity and combats a crepe-like texture. This treatment is not a replacement for existing wrinkle injection treatments, however can be used in combination with other injectables such as Botox® and Dermal Fillers or as a stand-alone treatment. In short, Profhilo® is a full-face rejuvenation treatment, which improves and enhances the strength and condition of the skin, resulting in age correction and age reversal.
Profhilo® uses an incredibly pure form of synthetic hyaluronic acid which gets injected strategically into the upper layers of the skin using a very small needle. The HA that is used in Profhilo® is very fluid, compared to HA that is used in Dermal Fillers which are much more viscous. This is beneficial as it effortlessly disperses into the skin where it creates a ‘scaffolding’ action on the tissues, hydrates, and begins the bio-remodelling process to improve skin laxity.
This effect takes place within 3-5 days post-treatment and a course of 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart are advised to see the maximum effects of Profhilo®. Once results are achieved, a course of 2 treatments can be repeated every 6 months or as needed, to maintain the results.
